Jonathan Moneymaker: BlueHalo to Demo Software-Defined Antenna for Military Operations

TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 7, 2021 — Jonathan Moneymaker, CEO of BlueHalo, said the company will work on multiband software-defined antenna technology for military telemetry, tracking and command operations, adding that the effort exemplifies BlueHalo’s engineering approach, ExecutiveBiz reported May 20.

The company’s three-year, $5.9 million contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory provides for the development and demonstration of the Wide Area Scanning Parabolic technology and a phased array for enabling resilient communications for the Phased Arrays for Ground Segment Satellite Communication initiative.
