American Warfighters know AEgis Technologies (AEgis) as the US defense industry’s leader in developing and deploying novel targets and instrumentation to characterize High-Energy Laser (HEL) and High-Power Microwave (HPM) weapon systems. Test and Evaluation (T&E) of the weapons in realistic environments with accurate instrumentation on threat representative targets builds the knowledge base necessary to effectively deploy DEWs. AEgis’ instrumentation products support the T&E lifecycle from static range testing with our Laser Integrated Diagnostics Suite (LIDS) to target boards on threat representative Group 1 and 2 UAS platforms. Deploying these targets with DEWs provides reusable targets for operators to build operational proficiency while providing critical weapon performance metrics to refine TTPs and rules of engagement. AEgis has successfully demonstrated the capabilities of these UAS target payloads against HEL and HPM weapons and has plans to deploy HEL and HPM dynamic targets with several DEW systems.
