Sector President and General Manager – Air and Missile Defense and C4ISR Sector
Patrick Cannon, Sector President and General Manager of BlueHalo’s Air and Missile Defense and C4ISR Sector, has over 40 years of experience in the National Security market with specific focus on engineering and management, defense weapon system development and evaluation, and the application of modeling and simulation to acquisition and training.
Prior to BlueHalo, Pat served as AEgis’ VP of Operations responsible for Albuquerque, NM presence where he built AEgis’ expertise and business portfolio in directed energy, non-traditional test and instrumentation, and space superiority with customers from coast to coast.
Pat holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Operation Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology and was certified as a Professional Engineer in Virginia and New Mexico. He’s held numerous professional society leadership positions including President of the Roadrunner Chapter of the International Test and Evaluation Association (ITEA), Working Group Chair with the Military Operations Research Society, and Test and Evaluation Users Group Chair of the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization. He also served on the Board of Directors of ITEA and the AEgis Technologies Group.
Prior to joining AEgis, Cannon had a successful 20+ year Army career as an officer in the Corps of Engineers and an Operations Research Analyst. His assignments included two tours in Europe as a combat engineer supporting the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment, 3rd Armored Division, and 3rd Infantry Division. He served as an Assistant Professor of Engineering at the United States Military Academy where he taught Engineering Management and Operations Research. His final assignment took him to Albuquerque as Chief of Staff of an OSD-sponsored Joint Test and Evaluation organization.
