AEgis Technologies is presenting a workshop on leveraging emerging virtual technologies to increase training effectiveness at the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Conference in Bredsten, Denmark, from April 9-12, 2018.
Mrs. Jenna Tuck, AEgis Business Development, will present the workshop and discuss the spectrum of Virtual Learning from PowerPoint to IMI, to Gaming and Immersive Virtual Reality. During the workshop, the audience will be introduced to four commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) products and software that can be leveraged to provide interesting, appealing and attention-grabbing training. The four products to be discussed are: Prezi, ModestTree, BuildBox and HTC Vive.
Learning objectives and critical take-aways include: the importance of leveraging virtual technologies in the production of training; four stages of virtual training content; and four low cost COTS tools to use in virtual training creation.
Jenna Tuck is the Business Development and Sales Manager for The AEgis Technologies Group, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. Her background includes twelve years of experience in the Simulation and Training Industry with experience in a broad range of positions in Research & Development, Engineering, Production Management and Business Development. Mrs. Tuck has held positions as Project Manager, Assistant Design Engineer, Production Manager and Business and Development Manager. She has a BSE from the University of Central Florida and currently serves as Director of Women in Defense in Central Florida and President and Founder of the Young Professional Outreach Network of Florida.
