ARLINGTON, VA – BlueHalo, the company transforming the future of global defense with its highly skilled workforce, announced today that G. Maliek Ferebee–transformational leader, innovator, and veteran human capital executive–has joined the company as Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO).

As CHCO, Ferebee will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s human resources operations, including talent development, diversity, equity and inclusion, performance management, compensation and benefits, and more. Prior to BlueHalo, he served as CHCO for DLH Corporation, where he designed, developed, and revolutionized the company’s human capital functions, providing world-class support to the operations centers, employees, and leadership within the service-driven organization. He also led the company’s Integration Management Office (IMO), successfully integrating workstreams and empowering a joint culture transformation of industry-leading value creation for employees, clients, stakeholders, and partners.

Ferebee holds an MBA with a concentration in human resource management and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. He also earned a certificate in Executive Development from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School and a certificate of Leadership Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and a member of the Washington Executive Human Resources Council, among other professional associations and affiliations. In his free time, Maliek serves as a mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization and as a mediator at the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County (CRCMC), Maryland.
