BlueHalo’s expansion allows for greater collaboration and support of Fort Sill’s C-UAS and air defense training programs
LAWTON, OK – Today, BlueHalo expands its footprint to Lawton, Oklahoma’s Fires Innovation Science and Technology Accelerator (FISTA) Innovation Park—bringing more highly-skilled, high-wage jobs to the region to tackle our Nation’s critical security missions. The new Oklahoma presence will allow BlueHalo to better serve its U.S. Army customers at Fort Sill, working shoulder-to-shoulder to develop and deliver innovative, next-generation Counter-Uncrewed Aerial System (C-UAS) solutions and air defense training technologies.
“The evolving threats that our warfighters face every day on the battlefield require us to continually innovate to develop the technologies that will prepare them for mission success and bring them home safely,” said Jimmy Jenkins, President of BlueHalo’s Armed Forces Portfolio and former U.S. Army Air Defender. “Fort Sill is home to our Nation’s very best weapons system training and development. That’s why we’re expanding our presence and increasing our investment here in Oklahoma–to support this shared mission and deliver soldier-focused innovation from training through deployment.”
BlueHalo leadership celebrated the expansion today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside FISTA, the U.S. Army, City of Lawton, and community leaders.
“We are thrilled to have BlueHalo join the FISTA Innovation Park and look forward to the strong partnership and high-quality jobs they will bring to the Lawton/Fort Sill economy,” said Dr. Krista Ratliff, President & CEO of FISTA. “Together, we can develop transformative solutions and help Oklahoma solidify its place as a national leader in innovative technologies.”
At its new Lawton location, BlueHalo will continue to expand solution offerings and provide support for its Virtual Systems Trainer (VST), five of which are used to train Stringer teams at Fort Sill’s Air Defense Artillery School. The VST is the first and only fielded virtual reality-based weapons training device that supports portable or fixed training sites for weapons systems training. The VST suite of products includes the Stinger, Stinger-Lite, and Javelin trainers. Fort Sill is also home to BlueHalo’s Integrated Moving Target Simulator (IMTS)–a 360-degree immersive training dome with realistic battlefield environment, varying terrains, and detailed after-action reviews.
BlueHalo is the leading provider of innovative, layered C-UAS solutions for national defense customers. The company’s Titan and Titan-SV systems offer autonomous radio-frequency (RF) detection and precision tracking of small UAS. Titan can detect, track, and force drones to safely land without disrupting nearby communications or electronics. BlueHalo’s LOCUST Laser Weapon System combines precision optical and laser hardware with advanced software, artificial intelligence, and processing. It has been successfully delivered and operationally deployed to identify, track, and engage a wide variety of targets with its hard-kill High Energy Laser. The FE-1 Next-Gen Missile rounds out BlueHalo’s portfolio of layered C-UAS air defense technologies to deliver best-in-class, cost-effective, control-point solutions to warfighters.
With the opening of the new office, BlueHalo now has a physical presence in twelve states.
