BlueHalo is the leading provider of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) targets and platforms to the Department of Defense, leveraging rapid prototyping capabilities for autonomous systems spanning C4ISR, DE, c-UAS, and other mission domain solutions. We have strong ties to multiple government agencies and government contracting organizations, providing platforms, payloads, and pilot support.

Platforms

BlueHalo is advancing the capabilities of Group 1 and 2 small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) platforms including rotorcraft, fixed wing and collective pitch vehicles.  Our platforms host a variety of payloads and span the continuum from expendable targets to highly engineered tactical platforms.  BlueHalo engineers and technicians design, manufacture, integrate, test and fly this broad offering of sUAS platforms, leveraging our rapid prototyping capabilities to deliver platforms for autonomous systems spanning C4ISR, Directed Energy, counter UAS (c-UAS), and other mission domain solutions.

In addition to leading edge product development for next generation sUAS platforms, BlueHalo designs and manufactures diverse sensor payloads for our platforms covering a wide range of capabilities from ISR to meteorological measurement and includes advanced sensors for measuring and characterizing Directed Energy Weapon system performance.   BlueHalo pioneered airborne direct measurement of laser weapons at tactically relevant ranges, and is leading efforts to develop new nodal measurement techniques to measure optical turbulence.

We provide a diverse set of payload designs to include COTS-based Electro-Optic/Infra-Red (EO/IR) systems, to LIDAR and RADAR solutions, to unique quick-reaction capability (QRC) for our customers.

BlueHalo integrates platforms and payloads to deliver complete systems to meet customer specific mission requirements.  We work with many ranges and customers on flight plans and approvals to complete test plans, and provide flight operations support.  BlueHalo engineers are developing complex sUAS swarm control algorithms and human machine interfaces to support test and tactical missions.

Our team performs rapid prototyping via SolidWorks 3D modeling, additive manufacturing, and CNC-based machines in our state-of-the-art Autonomous Systems Design & Manufacturing Facility.
