A place where people wish to come, and where people wish to stay.
Diversity is having a seat at the table.
Inclusion is having a voice.
Belonging is having that voice be heard.
At BlueHalo, we are cultivating an inclusive workplace and workforce that values “Belonging.”
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
ERGs are comprised of employees who are linked together by personal characteristics–such as one’s race, ethnicity, gender, status as an individual with a disability, or sexual orientation/gender identity–or who are drawn together by a shared interest or goal within an organization.
As growing components of our inclusive vision for BlueHalo, our ERGs are helping to:
- Foster professional development,
- Enhance work performance,
- Assist in matching mentors with mentees,
- Assist in recruiting a diverse workforce,
- Increase community partnerships, and
- Encourage interaction and relationship building within and across work groups.
A Statement from Deat LaCour, Ph.D. – BlueHalo’s Director of DE&I
At BlueHalo, we firmly believe that diversity, inclusion, and belonging are not just watchwords, but essential pillars that drive innovation, creativity, and success. As the Director of DE&I, I am committed to championing these principles and ensuring they are deeply ingrained in our company’s culture, practices, and strategies.
In today’s rapidly evolving tech industry, where change is constant, embracing diversity is not just a moral imperative, but also a strategic advantage. We understand that diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences fuel our ability to solve complex problems, drive innovation, and tap into new markets. By cultivating an inclusive and equitable environment, we unlock the full potential of our talented workforce and empower every individual to bring their authentic selves to work.
Our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging goes beyond meeting diversity quotas or ticking boxes. It is about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. We strive to foster an environment where differences are celebrated, collaboration is cherished, and all employees have equal opportunities to thrive and grow. Together, we will build a culture that embraces diversity, inclusion, and belonging as core values. By fostering an environment where all individuals can bring their authentic selves to work, we will not only attract and retain top talent but also drive innovation and create products that resonate with a diverse global audience.
I invite every member of our HaloNation community to join me on this journey of fostering diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Together, we will shape a future where everyone feels valued, included, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.

Learn what our people have to say about BlueHalo’s DE&I programs.
“BlueHalo is the most inclusive workplace I have ever been with, not just for the LGBTQ+ community, but for other marginalized communities as well. This is the only place I have ever worked that I have felt 100% safe to be my authentic self, in my gender expression and identity as well as my orientation, the first place I have really never had to hide an important, albeit not completely defining, aspect of myself. I thank you, our executive leadership, our RBC leadership and everyone who supports these initiatives from the bottom of my heart!”

“Just wanted to say last night’s WoBH was my favorite session yet! While I’ve picked up nuggets from each session, the format of hearing a successful female executive share her story and then answer questions was really insightful. Just the pick-me-up I needed, at the perfect time. Thanks again…”
Member of Women of BlueHalo
“Appreciate you sharing the fun events planned from this ERG!”
“I enjoyed the virtual tour and finding the answer to the questions.”
“This is fun! I am learning a lot about the museums and through the questions – I didn’t know anything about the Phili Soul music scene.”
