ALBUQUERQUE, NM — BlueHalo has been awarded a $950,000,000 ceiling indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the maturation, demonstration, and proliferation of capability across platforms and domains, leveraging open systems design, modern software, and algorithm development in order to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2). This contract is part of a multiple award multi-level security effort to provide development and operation of systems as a unified force across all domains (air, land, sea, space, cyber, and electromagnetic spectrum) in an open architecture family of systems that enables capabilities via multiple integrated platforms.
“We are honored and excited to be selected by the U.S. Air Force to support the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS),” said Dan Gillings, BlueHalo Space and Directed Energy Sector President. “Our world-class team looks forward to the opportunity to develop solutions that will provide the warfighter with agile and resilient communications terminals based on core digital beamforming technology never before thought possible.”
BlueHalo’s Advanced Radio Frequency Systems (ARFS) group is dedicated to developing next-generation digital beamformed phased arrays for the U.S. warfighter and providing novel solutions enabling multi-band, multi-mission capabilities in the telemetry, electronic warfare, and communication defense markets leveraging commercially available technology. BlueHalo’s key RF offerings include BADGER, a multi-band, deployable ground terminal enabling resilient communications, and the Wide Area Scanning Parabolic (WASP) system, which both use an open system architecture across multiple mission domains and platforms. As a core area of technological focus and investment at BlueHalo, the ARFS group is rapidly expanding capabilities based on its robust internal research and development programs and extensive experience developing and fielding RF systems for Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
BlueHalo is purpose-built to provide industry-leading capabilities in the domains of Space Superiority and Directed Energy, Air and Missile Defense and C4ISR, and Cyber and Intelligence. BlueHalo focuses on inspired engineering to develop, transition, and field next generation capabilities to solve the most complex challenges of our customer’s critical missions and reestablish our national security posture in the near-peer contested arena. www.bluehalo.com
