Brian Morrison

President, Intelligence Portfolio

Brian Morrison is Corporate Executive Vice President and Sector President of the Intelligence Portfolio at BlueHalo.

Brian previously served in a variety of positions at General Dynamics Mission Systems, most recently as vice president and general manager for the Space, Cyber and Intelligence line of business. Prior to joining industry in 2012, Brian was a deputy assistant secretary of defense, serving as the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) chief legislative strategist and liaison for matters relating to the U.S. House of Representatives. He also served as an assistant general counsel at the Central Intelligence Agency. Before joining the DOD, he spent five years with the U.S. House of Representatives’ Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, ending his tenure as deputy staff director and general counsel.

Brian serves on the board of the National Council for the Traditional Arts, and formerly served on the board of the Washington National Opera and the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services. He received the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service in 2013 and the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service in 2018. He also served as a military intelligence officer in the Iraq War in 2007, earning an Iraq Campaign Medal and a Defense Meritorious Service Medal, among other decorations.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University, a law degree from Harvard Law School, and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
